ReLaTiviTy

Relativity, Einstein invented this concept with respect to energy and mass of a particle. But as it turns out, I think it is applicable to the nuances of the varied threads of our lives as well. I want to talk about the definition of having fun. All my life I have seldom went out to some booze parties or pubs because of being a teetotaler. And even if I go there with my friends, as I did yesterday, I feel really uncomfortable. It’s the same feeling that I got in India, or in USA and now in France. No matter how good the band is playing at the front, or how striking the nature is, I never felt “YAY!” on such decks. One reason is that I detest alcohol and second, the smoke clouds never seem to vacate the air in such places. Anyways, that’s my frame of reference.  My friends enjoy the ambience immensely. A drink in the hand, grooving to the hard and head banging music reverberating in the air, it really is a treat for most of them. In fact, not only my friends, every soul on the floor seems to be having the time of life. At times I think if alcohol has the perfect socializing stimulant. Anyways, I am happy being unhappy at such places, atleast I am not breaking my own rules :)
